Okay, so here goes a story. By now, I’m pretty sure everyone knows what happen the day of July 20, 2012 at the midnight premiere of Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado. This infamous incident has affected everybody throughout America. Sadly, it has also changed the image of Batman in some people’s mind and is now scaring people.
The result of this picture is pretty much my friend who cosplayed as Batman for the Dark Knight Rise midnight premiere and another showing the next day. Everything thing was perfectly fine at the midnight premiere, but not at the second showing we went to later that day. Basically, we were taking pictures and other stuff while we were waiting for the movie to start. I guess when someone who was with was waving the grapple gun around and that freaked somebody out, which caused someone to call the cops in us. Moments later, a cop approaches us from the distances with a 12 gauge shotgun. He tells us to stop and drop everything. I was really confused and I kind of yelled at the cop, “Is this a joke?!”. He probably yells back more demands; I am not too sure. One by one, they start frisking all us and putting us the side. And it really sucks that I am a minority and I had a lot of items in my pockets. Once they’re done frisking everybody, they proceed to frisk our Batman and ask her plenty of questions.
Glad that she wasn’t arrested. Sucks get getting kicked out the theaters though. Because too many people were scared and were asking for free movie passes, theater employees didn’t think it was okay for Batman to be there any longer. Since we really wanted to this movie badly, Batman basically went to go buy a change of clothes.
All in all, fuck James Holmes for ruining the image of Batman !!
Rest in peace to all the unfortunate people at the Dark Knight Rises premiere in Aurora, Colorado.
